International trade fair for transport technology, innovative components - vehicles - systems

InnoTrans transformed Berlin into an essential meeting point for the global railway industry between from 20 to 23/09/2016. Just under 3,000 exhibitors from 60 countries presented their product ranges and comprehensive services at the Berlin exhibition grounds. Visitors to the trade fair had the opportunity to inspect 127 railway vehicles in the outdoor area and on the tracks.

Together with our trade fair partners from Schniewindt, Schneider/Telemecanique and Breimer-Roth we would like to extend our thanks for the fantastic and successful few days at InnoTrans 2016 in Berlin.

Old contacts were refreshed, numerous new international connections established, countless technical issues successfully examined, contracts concluded and new, interesting areas of activity discussed.

After long and intense deliberations, we decided to target ISO 9001 certification for our company. And we were successful at our first attempt. We have belonged to the group of certified companies in Germany since August 2015.

The certification body TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH certifies that IME Elektrotechnik GmbH has introduced and applied a quality management system for the sale of electronic components and systems. An audit showed that the requirements for ISO 9001:2008 have been met.

Dipl.-Ing. Malte Eckardt and Erika Eckardt found “ime” as a commercial agency in 1980.

Over 30 years ago, when our senior – Malte Eckardt – founded the company, it was called “Ingenieurbüro Malte Eckardt”. Back then the highly motivated employees were focussed on “customer service”, just like they are today. We are expert contacts for our customers in the fields of: railway technology, automation, measurement and control technology, energy distribution, control cabinet and systems engineering, safety and machine technology, electrical heating technology, fire detection technology, EMC technology and much more.
